BASIC FOOD COMBINING GUIDELINES

1.  Fruits are best eaten by themselves or with other fruits.

2.  Proteins and starches are to be eaten separately.

3.  Combine protein and vegetables or starches and vegetables.

4.  Eat only one protein per meal.
